Quotas and limits
What limits apply to your organization, which are enforced today, and where to see your usage.
Your organization's plan sets limits on what you can use. The Quota card on your organization's page shows each limit and how much of it you've used.
Plan limits are provisional. The numbers on the Quota card are placeholders until pricing is final, and they can change. Only some of them are enforced today, as listed below. For the limits that apply to you, read your own Quota card or ask the Groundfloor team.
See your usage
Open your organization
In the Client Portal sidebar, click Organizations, then your organization's name.
Read the Quota card
It shows Workspaces, File storage, Audit events (rolling) and LLM compute units, each with how much you've used.
Anyone in the organization can see the Quota card. The Billing card next to it is visible only to Owners, Admins and Billing admins; see Usage and billing.
What is enforced
| Limit | Today |
|---|---|
| Workspaces | Enforced. Creating a workspace beyond your plan's limit fails with a message saying so |
| File storage | Enforced. An upload that would go over your organization's total file storage is refused |
| Audit events (rolling) | Shown for information. Events are kept for 30 days by default, whatever the plan |
| LLM compute units | Shown for information only and always 0, because the LLM Gateway is coming soon and not available yet |
Limits that don't depend on your plan
These apply to everyone, whatever the plan:
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| One uploaded file (Files and Data Vault uploads) | 512 MiB |
| The zip of a Function, Job, Schedule or Service you deploy | 64 MiB |
| One Shell app release bundle | 32 MiB |
| Managed databases per workspace | 5 by default. The platform's operators can change this setting, so it can differ on your cell |
A request that is larger than the limit is refused with an error such as 413. The database limit isn't a plan limit and isn't on the Quota card.
Reaching a limit
To raise a plan limit, ask your organization's Owner or contact support.
From code
gf usage prints the same usage and limits for the organization that owns your current workspace, plus the billing estimate if you're an Owner, Admin or Billing admin. Add --json for scripts. See the gf CLI.
GET https://platform.groundfloor.cloud/v1/organizations/{organization_id}/quota returns the same usage and limits. See the Quotas API.
