Activity log
See who changed what, and when, in an organization or workspace, and export it.
The activity log records who did what, and when: changes to organizations and workspaces, deploys, membership changes, secret reveals and more. Events are kept for 30 days by default.
For your code's own output and errors, see the Process Log instead.
Before you start
- The Member role or above in the organization or workspace you want to look at.
See activity
Open Activity Log
In the Client Portal, go to Observe → Activity Log.
Choose the scope
Choose Workspace, for the workspace selected at the top of the page, or Organization, and pick one.
Read the events
Each event shows who did it, the action, what it affected and when. Click an event for its details.
A workspace's page also shows its latest 25 events, and an organization's page shows its latest 10.
Export it
With the scope chosen, click Export at the top of the page to download the events as a JSON file. An export holds at most the 10,000 most recent events, and only those still within the 30-day window.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause | What to do |

| Nothing is listed | Nothing happened in the last 30 days, or no workspace is selected | Check the scope and the workspace picker |
| The export fails | A network or permission error | Try again; check your role |
