Organizations
See your organizations, their workspaces, plan, usage and recent activity, and delete an organization.
An organization is your company or team on Groundfloor. It holds your workspaces, your team and your plan. Every workspace belongs to exactly one organization, and one person can belong to several organizations.
Before you start
- Sign in to console.groundfloor.cloud. You need to be a member of at least one organization: someone in it invites you from Team.
- To rename an organization you need the Owner or Admin role. Owners, Admins and Billing admins can change the billing contact. See Team and roles.

What the organization page shows
| Section | What's in it |
|---|---|
| Overview | Type, plan, status and billing contact |
| Workspaces | Every workspace in the organization, with a link to each |
| Quota | Your usage against your plan's limits. See Quotas and limits |
| Billing | An estimate of your last 30 days of usage. Visible to Owners, Admins and Billing admins only. See Usage and billing |
| Billing statements | Your monthly statements, once issued. Visible to Owners, Admins and Billing admins only. See Billing statements |
| Recent activity | The latest 10 changes in the organization |
To rename the organization, use the edit control next to its name.
For the full history of changes, open Observe → Activity Log and set the scope to Organization. See Activity log.
Delete an organization
Only an Owner can delete an organization. On the organization's page, open Danger zone, click Delete organization and type the organization's name. Deletion is scheduled after a grace period, and the page shows the date. When it runs, every workspace in the organization is deleted, then the organization is archived. Billing usage history is kept.
Until the deletion starts, an Owner can click Cancel deletion, even after the scheduled date has passed. Once the deletion has started it can't be cancelled.
Getting a new organization
Organizations are set up by Groundfloor. If your company isn't on Groundfloor yet, or you need another organization, contact the Groundfloor team.
